Earlie Mae Locklear Todd, 73, of Whiteville, passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2024.
Mae was born on March 31, 1951. She was the daughter of the late Ellen Viola Locklear, and the widow of George Waitus Todd, and was also preceded in death by her son, Kenneth “Kenny” Ray Todd and a “special child”, Junel Davis; siblings, James Elbert Locklear, Leona Deal, Frances Huggins, and Linda Lewis.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Union Baptist Church in Lake Waccamaw, with Pastor Shannon D. Spaulding officiating. Burial will follow in the Cherokee Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
The visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn.
Mae leaves behind her daughter, Rena Thompson and her fiancé, Roland McLamb of Clarendon; grandchildren, Gabrielle Bowers, Danielle Bowers, Savannah Todd, Valentina McLamb; great-grandchildren, Shayden Phillips, Charlotte Mae Phillips, Laityn Rae Small.
