James “Jimmy” Allen Nobles age 73 of Chadbourn went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare “Angel House” in Whiteville.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Worthington Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Buddy Seay officiating. Interment will follow in the Ward’s Station Church of God Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday (September 4, 2024) prior to the service..
Jimmy was employed by Wayne E. Bailey Oil Co., Whiteville Oil, Campbell Oil and Ford LP for over 40 years, retiring in 2009.
He was the son of the late Fulton Allen Nobles and Georgia Bertie Harris Nobles.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Judy Carol Moore Nobles of the home; children, Ronnie A. Nobles (Viki), Lisa R. Ward (Rohn) and Billy Tedder (Amanda) all of Whiteville; his sister, Elizabeth Ann Nobles of Chadbourn; 10 Grandchildren, Sunnie Morales (Chupon), Summer Nobles, Taylour Watson, Ryan Alan Ward (Kayla), Zack Watson (Kayla), Derrick Allen Nobles (Kaitlin), Kelsey Ivey (Nick), Hayley Tedder, Erika Ward (Wynston) and Brannon Watson (Tiffany); 12 great grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
