Billy Edward Floyd, Sr. 70 of Whiteville, died on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, in Novant Health-New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC.
Billy was born on July 7, 1954, son of the late Steve Audy Floyd and Eunice Myers Floyd.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 11, 2024, at Worthington Funeral Home with Pastor Willard McPherson officiating. Burial will follow in the Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery.
The visitation will be from 10:00-10:45 a.m. prior to the service on Friday, at the funeral home.
The surviving family includes two children, Billy Edward Floyd, Jr. of Tabor City, Tony Floyd of Florida; grandchild, Jade Floyd; siblings, Kathy Floyd of Whiteville, Thomas “Tommy” Floyd of Whiteville; nieces, Audrey Floyd Hoover (Frank) of Tabor City and Lisa Strickland (Rob) of Newport; nephews, Logan Floyd of Whiteville and Alan Floyd (Joan) of Cerro Gordo; host of loving great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends.
