Mrs. Cheryl Johnson Menser 57, of Whiteville, NC gave the Lord her hand and entered into eternity on, Monday, October 21, 2024, at the Lower Cape Fear Life Care Center, The Angel House, Whiteville, NC. She was the daughter of the late Bishop Raymond Johnson and Mrs. Frances Russell Johnson of Columbus County, NC.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted on, Monday, October 28, 2024, at 1:00 pm from Victory in Jesus Ministries, Whiteville, NC, with Pastor Tracey Troy delivering the eulogy.
In lieu of flowers the Menser/Johnson family request donations to be made for Mrs. Menser’s service to Smith Funeral Home, Inc.
Mrs. Menser is survived by her husband: Mr. Paul Menser, children: Donald Johnson (Whitney), Brenda Hatcher (James), Shena Menser, Frances Menser, and Jamie Wilson Brown, two brothers: Deacon Adrian Johnson (Queen) and Joseph Johnson (Meka), five grandchildren, one great grandchild, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
A viewing will be held on, Sunday, October 27, 2024, from 3 to 6 pm in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel, and one hour prior to services on, Monday at the church.
Friends may visit the home of Deacon Adrian and Queen Johnson, located at 216 North Thompson Street, Whiteville, NC.
