- Transformation Church has several events during December. The Oxendines will sing Sunday at 10 a.m. The church sponsors a turkey shoot every Friday and Saturday night at 7 p.m. with all proceeds going to the church building fund. The shoot is held at 9955 James B. White Hwy. South (U.S. 701 South).
- Transformation and Milk B4 Meat Ministries will also host Christmas caroling Dec. 22 at 6 p.m.
Transformation has a midweek service every Wednesday at 7, followed by a covered dish supper, in the Lebanon Church fellowship hall at 9237 James B. White Hwy. Lake Waccamaw Methodist Church has several events scheduled for the season. A Blue Christmas service will be held at noon Dec. 10 (Tuesday). The church Christmas musical and party is Dec. 15 starting at 4 p.m. A Christmas Eve service is set for 7 p.m. Dec. 24. Trinity Baptist Church and Chadbourn Baptist churches are joining forces for the cantata, Silent night, holy night. The program will be Sunday at 6 p.m. at Trinity Baptist, 201 South Thompson Street in Whiteville, and Monday at 7 p.m. at Chadbourn Baptist, 504 N. Howard Street.
- Macedonia Freewill Baptist Church will present a children’s Christmas program Dec. 22 at 6 p.m. The church is located at 48 Crusoe Island Rd., Whiteville.
