Harold Lee Norris, 82, of the Emerson Community in Tabor City, met his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, while in the comfort of his home.
Harold was born on December 10, 1942, son of the late Jettie Lee Norris and Flarrie Jane Fowler Norris. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Royce Norris and Irene Highman.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 20, 2024, at Worthington Funeral Home with Pastor Heath Conner officiating. Burial will follow in the Myrtle Green Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:45 p.m. prior to the service on Friday, at the funeral home.
Harold was formerly employed by Lundy’s Packing Company, and he was also an avid farmer. Mr. Norris was a faithful member of Emerson Original Free Will Baptist Church.
The surviving family includes his loving wife, Judy Joyce Ward Norris; children, Denise Norris (Eddie) of Murphy, Sheila Lee Norris Watts (Glenn) of Tabor City; grandchildren, Jacob Watts and Tanner Watts; two great-grandsons, Liam Watts and Karter Watts.
