Shelton Eugene Jones, 71, of 114 East Clay Street, Whiteville, NC, died Friday, December 27, 2024, at home.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
The funeral will be 2:00 PM Sunday, January 5, at Mill Branch Baptist Church, 645 Harrelsonville Road, Whiteville, NC, by Pastor John Langley. Burial, with military honors, will be in the Cherry Grove Cemetery.
Viewing will be at the church Sunday 30 minutes prior to the service.
Surviving are his wife, Julie Jones; Jitu Jones, Keno Jones, Tamara Bufford, Ronya Sturdivant, Darius Johnson, and Krystal Johnson of Charlotte, NC; Angelic Gore of Georgia, Kyle Rouse and Carlton Rouse of Hallsboro, NC; sisters, Gwendolyn Jones of Longwood, NC, Debra Davis and Wendy Jones of Charlotte, NC; brother, David Jones of Charlotte, NC.
