Shirleen Jacobs Graham, 76, of Buckhead, NC, went to be with the Lord Saturday, December 7, 2024. She was born September 11, 1948, in Robeson County, daughter of the late Odell Jacobs and Catherine Moore Jacobs.
Mrs. Shirleen was saved at a young age and attended New Hope Baptist Church. She was not a woman of many words, but she showed love to everyone she knew. One thing for sure, she missed her late husband.
Mrs. Shirleen was employed with Whiteville Apparel, where she worked for many years before she retired. In her free time, she loved spending time with her grandchildren, fishing, and taking trips to enjoy the beautiful scenery of nature.
She was the oldest of six children and she loved her family with all her heart. She treasured many vacation trips and stories with her children. Her kindness and generosity was cherished by all those who knew and loved her. Mrs. Shirleen’s presence and beautiful smile will be deeply missed.
Mrs. Graham is survived by two sons, Stanley Graham (Liz), and Eric Graham of Buckhead; two daughters, Vicky Graham of Elizabethtown, and Penny Graham (Greg) of Riegelwood; sisters, Judy Campbell (Felton) of Council, Gerleen White of Clarkton, and Minnie Elliot of Lake Waccamaw; seven grandchildren, Erin Jacobs, Grant Spaulding, Matthew Spaulding, Kwalian Graham, Kaden Moore, Albanie Williams, and Karinna Williams; and eleven great grandchildren, Addison Spaulding, Analeigh Butler, Bryson Jacobs, Brynleigh Graham, Marleigh Spaulding, Makenna Spaulding, Braylon Jacobs, Braverleigh Jacobs, Cailum Spaulding, Maecyn Graham and Karsin Williams.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William Robert (Nancy) Graham; a daughter, Baby Graham; her parents; a brother, Welton Jacobs; a sister, Lillian Colon, and a great granddaughter, Leigha Marie Jacobs.
Her funeral service will be held Thursday, December 12, 2024 at 3:00pm at New Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. Zachary Jacobs officiating. Burial will follow in the New Hope Baptist Church cemetery.
