Three masked men allegedly assaulted a Delco couple and stole $35,000 of cash of property and cash Saturday.
The sheriff’s office reported that Guadalupe Renteria and Yajaira Sanchez sustained minor injuries but refused medical assistance in the attack.
Renteria and Sanchez told deputies that the three men broke into the home on Raven’s Way just after 11:30 p.m. At least one was armed with a rifle or some kind of longarm, the report said.
Both victims were forced to give up their wallets, iPhones, credit and debit cards, jewelry and $15,000 in cash. The total amount of stolen property was around $37,000.
The investigation is continuing.
