Jimmie Ampie Ward, 76, of Ash, died on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at his home.
Jimmie was born on November 28, 1948, son of the late Christopher Garland Ward and Katherine Carrie Ward. He was the widow of the late Brenda Joyce Fowler Ward.
Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 15, 20258 at the Myrtle Head Cemetery- (7125 Parker Road Northwest Ash, NC) with Pastor Dewayne Griffin officiating. The family will speak to friends following the service.
Jimmie served his country in the United States Army. 
The surviving family includes his children, Roland Eugene Ward (Katie) of West Palm Beach, FL, Sarah Elaine Garrell (Mickey) of West Jefferson, Breann Carlisle (Wesley) of Ash; a sister, Wanda Smith (Gene) of Lake Waccamaw; grandchildren, Scooter, Ellie, Olivia, and Destiny, a great grandchild, Hunter.
