Mr. Vincent Lovett Kelly, age 62, of Chadbourn, NC, departed this life on Friday, December 27, 2024, at Columbus Regional Healthcare System.
Vincent was born on January 12, 1962, in Columbus County, NC, to Mildred Kelly and the late Curtis McClain. Affectionately known as “Babyface” by all who knew him, Vincent’s gentle and kind spirit touched the lives of many. His presence will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and the community.
Vincent is survived by his loving mother, Mildred Kelly, of the home; four daughters, Crystal Faulk, Shatoria Campbell, Nadrika Campbell, and Shay Campbell, all of Chadbourn; two sons, Kevin Graham and Jack Levy, both of Chadbourn; one sister, Christine McClain of Maryland.
He also leaves behind a cherished family of ten aunts: Margie Williams, Elouise Mason, Hattie Kelly, Geraldine Wilson (Bobby), Ida Mae Deese (Dexter), Sandra Kelly, all of Chadbourn, Ann Hill and LaTesha Pitman of Evergreen, NC, Wanda Gail Payton of Maryland and Ritz Flynn of Florida; and six uncles: Robert Kelly (Ruby), Alexander Kelly Jr., both of Chadbourn, William Pittman of South Carolina, Derrick Pittman of Evergreen, Mark Rye and Mike Rye, both of Maryland; and a host of cousins and friends who mourn his passing.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the Chapel of D&A Funeral Services, 212 South Wilkes Street, Chadbourn.
A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Zion Freewill Baptist Church, 415 W Institute St, Chadbourn, Elder Wendell Gore.
