October 19, 1943 ~ January 31, 2025 (age 81)
Betty Hutto Kinlaw, 81, of Chadbourn, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025, at the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Angel House in Whiteville.
Betty was born on October 19, 1943, daughter of the late Clifford Hutto and Maggie Smith Hutto. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Herman Layton Kinlaw; her brother, Kenneth Hutto; granddaughters, Kayla Simmons and Kasey Simmons.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at Whiteville Memorial Cemetery.
The family will speak to friends from 1:00-2:00 prior to the service, at the cemetery.
The surviving family includes two daughters, Rhonda Kinlaw Morgan of Chadbourn, Christy Kinlaw of Whiteville; grandchildren, Laiken Hines, Jackson Simmons; great-grandchildren, Cadence Simmons, Caden Simmons, Kloe Simmons, Aubri Shaffer, Preston Shaffer; brother, James “Danny” Hutto.
