August 7, 1943 ~ February 14, 2025 (age 81)
Margaret Ellen Stanley Sikes of Whiteville, passed away February 13, 2025. She was born to the late Robert Stanley and Carrie Price Stanley.
She is survived by a son, Barry Sikes (Kim) of Piedmont, SC; a daughter, Melinda Powell (Greg) of Whiteville; grandchildren, Mark Sikes, Christopher Powell, Eli Powell, Ashly Graham, Meagan Sikes; great-granddaughter, Sadie Graham.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Scott Sikes, Eddie Sikes; Brother, Jerry Stanley and her former spouse, Charles Sikes.
Her funeral service will be held Thursday, February 20, 2025 at 2:00pm at Pleasant Plains Baptist Church with the Rev. Dave Heller and Rev. Joshua Connor officiating. Burial will follow in Peacock’s Columbus Memorial Park.
Her family will receive friends one hour prior to her service at the church.
