Two people were hurt when a shed burned on Bussy Road in Hallsboro early Tuesday. Witnesses said they heard an explosion just before the fire erupted.
Flames were visible for several hundred yards. Hallsboro Chief Joe Tyler said his station was assisted by Old Dock, White Marsh and Lake Waccamaw.
The cause of the fire is undetermined. Both victims were airlifted to a burn center.
