A woman out on bond on trespassing charges was arrested Tuesday after allegedly stealing a drink from a store where she had previously been banned.
Amber Muse, 48, was charged with misdemeanor larceny, second degree trespassing and and resisting an officer.
Muse was out on bond for failure to appear when she was arrested, according to court records. Her address was listed as 122 Bussy Rd., Hallsboro.
Deputies were called to the Hallsboro Dollar General around 10:30 a.m. after Muse was reportedly observed stealing a drink in the store. Deputies found her walking on Bussy Road, where she admitted the theft. Deputies also reviewed security cameras that showed the incident.
Muse was banned from the store after a previous shoplifting incident when she allegedly tried to reenter the store after being detained outside by a deputy.
Her bond was set at $3,000 secured.
