Multiple charges were filed against a suspect who allegedly stopped running from the law when he pulled into the driveway of random residence.
Billy Jay Wright, 40, of 414 Country Village Rd., Whiteville, was held under $30,000 secured bond. He also faces numerous traffic charges from the Highway Patrol.
A deputy on patrol in the Green Acres community spotted Wright driving a Ford Taurus with multiple violations, the report said.
