Maggie Pearl Faulk Singletary age 93, of Tabor City died Tuesday, March 4, 2025, in Brunswick Health & Rehabilitation, Ash, NC.
Born June 16, 1931 in Columbus County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Cleve and Pearlie Reaves Faulk.
She was a member of Dulah Baptist Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Ann Edge (Billy) of Nakina, NC. One daughter-in-law, Gayle Singletary of Tabor City, NC. Five grandchildren; Kimberly Gore (Shannon) of Nakina, NC, Amanda McPaul (Mike) of Little River, SC, Brittany Norris of Tabor City, NC, Ginger Bass (Michael) of Nakina, NC, Chris Edge of Nakina, NC. Seven great grandchildren, Megan Reaves (Rev. Colton) of Whiteville, NC, Lily Bass of Nakina, NC, Cole Edge of Nakina, NC, Jesse Edge of Nakina, NC, Terran Edge of Nakina, NC, Layla Connor of Little River, SC, Owen Norris of Tabor City, NC. One great great-grandchild, Faye Catherine Reaves of Whiteville, NC.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.E. Singletary, Jr. One son, Roger Singletary, four brothers, Otis Faulk, Wilson Faulk, Harvey Faulk, JV Faulk; three sisters, Eva Soles, Juanita Stocks, Mollie Bell Parrish.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 7, 2025 at 2:00 PM, in Dulah Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the church.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice & Life Care Center 206 Warrior Trail, Whiteville, NC 28472.
