Ms. Dersey Mae Lacewell 70, of East Arcadia community of Riegelwood, NC, gave the Lord her hand on Monday, March 3, 2025, at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Sam Lacewell, Sr. and Mrs. Minnie Graham Lacewell of Riegelwood, NC.
A Celebration of Life Service for Ms. Lacewell will be conducted on Friday, March 7, 2025, at 1:00 pm from Pleasant Union Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Jackson eulogizing. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Ms. Lacewell is survived by two brothers: Sam Lacewell, Jr., and Larry Lacewell, two sisters: Annie Lucille Lacewell and Delisa Lacewell Graham, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services on Friday at the church.
