Patrick Pendleton has been charged with felony death by vehicle, possession of opiates and other charges for the March death of Savannah Lowry. Pendleton was allegedly impaired when he crashed into Lowry’s vehicle head on in the Silver Spoon community.
Multiple charges were filed against Tracy Lynn Spivey, 39 after she allegedly tried to break into an ex-boyfriend’s residence, headbutted the cage in a patrol car, and took drugs into the detention center.
An infant is recovering after ingesting cocaine Saturday, and the child’s caregiver has been charged. Yolanda Moore, age 30, of Marvin’s Lane Chadbourn, was charged with felony child abuse inflicting serious injury.
The fifth annual Spring Has Sprung Festival is this Saturday, April 5 in downtown Tabor City, 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. this Saturday. A variety of food vendors; craft and retail vendors; information booths; local entertainment; the free KidZone featuring Flimsy the Clown; Car, Truck, Motorcycle, and Tractor Show hosted by Carolina Country Cruisers; and the Spring Has Sprung Parade.
