Clara Bell Bartley Sellers, 81, of Chadbourn, entered into her Heavenly home at 12:34 p.m. on Friday, April 4, 2025.
Clara Bell was born on May 4, 1943, in Robeson County, daughter of the late Harvey Bartley and Mary Hunt Bartley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Shula Sellers.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Worthington Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Jacobs officiating. Burial will follow in the Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday evening at the funeral home.
Clara Bell was a member of Chadbourn Church of God of Prophecy, of which she attended faithfully until her recent illness. She loved the Lord with all her heart and served him faithfully, and nothing made her happier than being in a spirit-filled worship service. Clara Bell worked for many years in the textiles industry and was also a devoted home maker.
Clara Bell leaves behind her children, Leroy Sellers of Pembroke, Jerry Sellers of Longwood, Gary Sellers of Chadbourn, Amy Sellers Jacobs of Lake Waccamaw, Troy Sellers of Chadbourn; siblings, Harvey Bartley, Jr. of Greensboro, Frankie Bartley of Red Springs, Pearlie Mae Bartley of Salisbury, Janie B. Caswell of Clarkton; 14 grandchildren; numerous loving great-grandchildren.
