Two juveniles blamed each other after windows were reported broken in a shed in Clarendon over the weekend, on property where they allegedly set a fire on another occasion.
The owners of the shed contacted the sheriff’s office after discovering someone had broken out multipole windows while the owners were at church. The victim told law enforcement that juveniles from a neighboring property have caused a number of problems, including allegedly setting fire to the yard.
The seven- and thirteen-year-old have previously been told to stay off the property, the report said.
The caregiver told deputies that he has been in contact with Juvenile Justice due to “behavioral issues” with both youth. They were formally told to cease trespassing on the property in question.
The case is under investigation.
