
Brunswick Electric Membership Corporation (BEMC)recently awarded $88,500 to area organizations through its 2025 Community Grants program
All 58 organizations have demonstrated a commitment to creating positive, lasting change across Brunswick and Columbus counties.
This year’s grant recipients represent a diverse array of community-driven efforts, including family services, arts and culture, civic programs, emergency response, and economic development initiatives—each working to enhance the quality of life within BEMC’s service area.
“Through the Community Grants program, BEMC continues to invest in the well-being and growth of the communities we serve,” said Brookes Versaggi, Manager of Member Engagement and Communication at BEMC. “We’re honored to support the incredible work these organizations do every day to make a difference.”
Launched in 2003, the BEMC Community Grants program has awarded more than $800,000 to local nonprofits and community groups. These funds have powered hundreds of impactful projects, strengthening the social and economic fabric of the region.
