The Bladen County AAA All-Stars have clinched a spot in the Division 2 AAA-State Tournament.
They earned the spot by getting to the semi-finals of the District 2 regional tournament held in Whiteville June 8-12. The State Tournament will be in Gastonia on July 11-18.
Bladen County lost the opener to Whiteville 5-2 before crushing Riegelwood 18-3. They were eliminated by South Columbus 13-5 in the semis.
Members of the Bladen County AAA All-Stars are Gus Bordeaux, Britton Christian, Lawson Walters, Jackson Davis, Boyce Allen, Cedarius Ballard, Alex Mears, Colton Thompson, Memphis Smith, and Cooper White. They are coached by Jordan Allen, Tim Benton and Ashley Davis.
