A man has been arrested for throwing a brick through a Fair Bluff business window early Sunday. Chris Faulk was arrested and charged in the incident. Damage to the window was estimated at $4,000
Developers of a proposed 4,500 home subdivision near Lake Waccamaw will hold a public meeting tonight at 6:00 p.m. at East Columbus High School. The public can ask questions and learn more about the proposal. Opponents of the plan are encouraging residents to turn out and wear red in opposition to the development. The fire marshal is investigating a possible arson on Lacewell Drive near Clarkton. The vacant single family home was discovered burning around 10:00 p.m. Saturday. No injuries were reported.
