
Narcotics investigators arrested a Clarkton area man after he allegedly sold drugs to two different undercover buyers.
Kenneth Bowen, 58, is being held under $550,000 secured bond on multiple charges of trafficking in opiates, possession with intent to manufacture sell and deliver narcotics, sale and delivery of methamphetamine, maintaining a dwelling for drug activities and other charges. On court documents he gave addresses of 1001 East Arcadia Road, Riegelwood and Mercer Mill Brown Marsh Road, Elizabethtown.
The Bladen Sheriff’s office said Columbus investigators alerted BCSO to Bowen allegedly selling drugs, and that CCSO was filing for warrants on Bowen. Bladen Vice/Narcotics officers then mounted their own investigation, and reported purchasing more illegal drugs from Bowen. On Monday, Bladen, Columbus and Robeson County deputies and SWAT members raided Bowen’s home near Clarkton, according to a press release. Drugs, firearms and cash were seized.
Cameron Blanks, 18, also of Clarkton, was charged with simple possession of marijuana and paraphernalia after the raid. He was released on $1,500 unsecured bond.
Sabrina Annette Blanks, 38, also of Clarkton, was charged with simple possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, and maintaining a dwelling for drug activities. She was released on $1,500 secured bond.
