WPD Opens Community Survey

Whiteville Police want to know what concerns the community.

Chief Paul Rockenbach said today that WPD is asking residents to participate in a community survey to find out more about what citizens like, dislike and want to see in the city’s police force. The survey can be found at  https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/WhitevillePDCommunitySurvey . You can also go to the city’s website, choose the Police Department from the dropdown menu, and find the survey there.

“This community survey will help shape our future Strategic Plan and aid us in the Strategic Planning Process,” the chief said.

The survey takes around five minutes or less to complete, and contains questions about priorities in the city, strengths and weakness in the department, community-wide problems, and other opinions.

The survey will be available until Aug. 2.
