An Evergreen woman has been charged with child abuse after an infant was hospitalized in critical condition. Warrants said Eugenia Waller, 32, is alleged to have allowed a seven month old to develop blisters and a rash while in Waller’s care.
Mason Benton hit a walk off home run in the 8th inning to lift Whitesville’s D2 Majors to a 2-1 victory over South Brunswick in the D2 Majors State Tournament.
Samantha Watts, 42 and her son Payton, both of Green Sea, S.C. entered guilty pleas Monday in a Conway courtroom. Both pleaded guilty to murder for the 2023 beating death of Corey Adam Soles of Chadbourn.
