Columbus Regional is moving into pain management on the Whiteville campus.
Advanced Pain Solutions will open this month. It is a new service line dedicated to caring for chronic pain patients.
“This expansion reinforces our commitment to meeting the evolving healthcare needs of the Columbus County community and surrounding areas,” the hospital said in a press release..
Advanced Pain Solutions will be located at 320 Jefferson Street, Whiteville in the former Advanced Urology location. The clinic is scheduled to operate two days per week for patient visits and one day per week for procedures. As demand grows, the program will expand in both capacity and scope.
“Chronic pain can significantly impact every aspect of a person’s life—from relationships and work to sleep and mental health. With Advanced Pain Solutions, patients can expect multidisciplinary, expert-driven care that is designed to improve quality of life and empower individuals to reclaim their daily activities,” the press release said.
The clinic will treat a broad range of chronic pain conditions, including back and neck pain, arthritis pain, nerve damage, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), post-surgical pain, headaches, and more. Available treatments will include nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablations (RFA), joint and spinal injections, spinal cord stimulation, and other minimally invasive procedures tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
Advanced Pain Solutions will work closely with Columbus Regional Healthcare System departments and primary care providers to ensure a well-coordinated and seamless patient experience. This integrated approach allows for comprehensive treatment planning and follow-up, improving outcomes for patients suffering from persistent pain.
“All of us at Columbus Regional Healthcare System are excited to bring this new offering to our patients,” said Jason Beck, CEO. “We recognize the increasing need for accessible, high-quality pain management services in our region and are committed to providing trusted care close to home.”
