A woman who allegedly brandished a handgun at a group of people has been arrested.
Ernestine Victoria Jackson, 61, of 107 Mill Stream Apartments, Brunswick, was released on a $20,000 unsecured bond. She faces a single charge of going armed to the terror of the public.
Deputies were called to the Mill Stream apartments to a report of a disturbance when they were informed that a woman had pointed a handgun in the direction of a crowd. No shots were fired.
Witnesses identified Jackson as the suspect, and she admitted to that she did point the gun at the crowd. Deputies recovered a Taurus handgun from her possession.
