In the SFGA Tournament at Land O’Lakes, George Cochran, David Medlin, and Bobby Gooden tied the team of Rudy Pait, Jerry Strictland, Billy Malpass, and Alick Mansfield both teams posted a 59 score. Two teams tied for third. Paul Stanley, Ray Crabtree, Wilbur Simmons, and Rodney Warwick, and the team of Rob Conway, Chris Smith, Marvin Eaton, and Timmy Thompson both posted a 61.
