Gary Landyn Jacobs 17, of Lake Waccamaw passed on August 14, 2025. He was born May 16, 2008 in New Hanover County, NC, the son of Greg Randal Jacobs and Heather Creech Jacobs of Lake Waccamaw.
He is survived by his parents;his sister, Timber Hood and husband, Nick of Clarkton; his brothers, Garret Jacobs and fiance, Ashleigh of Buckhead; Kendal Patrick of Buckhead, Tyler Patrick of Buckhead; maternal grandparents, Sherry and Marty Stennes of Riegelwood and maternal grandmother, Dianne Creech of Bolton; two aunts, Tonya Jacobs and husband, Travis of Buckhead and Angela Garza and husband, Rey of Austin, TX; one niece and three nephews.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Gary and Marcella Jacobs; maternal grandfather, Terry Creech, and his uncle, Nolan Jacobs.
Landyn’s funeral service will be at 3:00 pm Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at East Columbus High School auditorium. Lake Waccamaw, where he was a rising senior. His service will be officiated by Rev. Zack Jacobs. Burial will be in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Bolton.
His family will receive friends 5:00 – 8:00 pm Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at Peacock Funeral Home in Whiteville.
