Citizen complaints about drug sales in Bladenboro led to the arrest of a convicted felon who was awaiting trial on other charges today (Aug. 15.)
Charles Matthew Outlaw, 43 of 100 Lewis St., Bladenboro, was held under no bond, the Bladen Sheriff’s Office said. He was charged with felony maintaining a dwelling for drug activities, drug paraphernalia, felony possession of narcotics and simple possession of prescription medications.
Vice/Narcotics investigators developed information about alleged drug sales at Lewis’ homes, the release said, after multiple complaints from citizens. They raided the property early Friday, and took Outlaw into custody.
The release said Outlaw was on probation for a felony conviction at the time of his arrest, and awaiting trial on other charges. Because of the previous arrest, he was held without bond.
