Ronald Lee Pierce, 54, formerly of Whiteville, died Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
The funeral will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, September 10, at Spring Hill Baptist Church, 2871 Chadbourn Highway, Whiteville, NC, by Pastor Vinston Rozier. Burial, with military honors, will be in the Campground Cemetery.
Viewing and visitation will be at the church Wednesday 30 minutes prior to the service.
Surviving are his wife, Wanda M. Pierce; son, Ronald Maurice Pierce of Durham, NC; sisters, Pamela Pierce-Dawson, Veronica Robinson, and Marsha Frink of Whiteville, Linda Myles of Florida, Linda Harrington of Fayetteville, NC, and Catherine Pierce of New York; brothers, Darnell Pierce of Whiteville, Arnold Pierce, Jr. of Virginia, and Daniel Pierce of Germany. Friends may visit the family at 84 Ebony Lane, Whiteville, NC.
