The N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles’ Driver License Office in Whiteville is temporarily closed through Sept. 2 so crews can perform office interior repairs and upgrades.
The office, located at 917 Washington Street, is closed through Sept. 2 and will reopen at 7 a.m. Sept. 3. Customers with scheduled appointments during the temporary closure have been rescheduled.
In the meantime, walk-in customers can visit the following offices from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. while the Whiteville office is temporarily closed:
- Elizabethtown, 197 North Pine St.
- Lumberton, 4650 Kahn Dr.
- Shallotte, 5298 Main St.
DMV offers driver license renewals and many other services online. Customers are encouraged to check the official DMV website at NCDMV.gov to see if their driver license needs can be met online.
