Thursday at Vineyard Golf of White Lake, 24 players took to the course for the Thundering Herd. Hutchens Glenn, Dustin Maitland, Jimmy Schultz, and Sean Burchman won with a -6 and a tiebreaker.
Seth Faircloth, Henry Simmons, Roger Smith, and Ashley Harrelson took first second with a -6 .
The last Thundering Herd for the summer was played this past Sunday. Johnathan Gordon, Ben Harrelson, Mitchell Henderson, and Stephen Clark won with a tiebreaker and a score of -11. SFGA
In the SFGA tournament held Tuesday at Land O’Lakes, Rudy Pait, Johnny Wallace, Elvin Meares, and Rodney Warwick won with a 128 in the two net score format. Paul Stanley, Stan Matthews, George Cochran, and Rudy Taylor shot a 130 for second place.

Land 0′ Lakes Member-Guest
Land O’ Lakes will have its Member-Guest Tournament on October 4-5. Deadline to register is Sept. 29. Entry fee is $100 per person. The tourney will be a best ball format and Texas scramble format on Sunday. The shotgun start is at 10 a.m. Players need to have an established handicap. For more information call 910.642.5757.
Fourth Annual Augustine Tournament
The Fourth Annual Augustine Family Scholarship Golf Tournament will be held Oct. 25 at Vineyard Golf of White Lake. The tournament will start at 10 a.m. The cost is $125 per person or $500 per team for the Captain’s Choice (Scramble) event.
