
ROCKY POINT — Heide Trask ran up 410 yards on the ground and held the Knights to 133 yards total offense on their way to a 44-6 victory Friday night.
The Titans got things going in the first quarter with a six-yard touchdown run from Tyreek Moore to put Heide Trask up 6-0 with 7:29 left. West Bladen answered the next drive with a one-yard TD run from Ahmarie White to tie the score 6-6.
In the second quarter, Trask got back on top with a 10-yard touchdown run from Moore, who also added the two-point conversion to give the Titans a 14-6 advantage. Moore later scored his third touchdown of the game with a eight-yard burst into the end zone. Kamajah Wilson added the two-point conversion to make it 22-6 in favor of Trask. The Titans added to their lead with 53 seconds left in the second with a one-yard run from Trey Paffenroth to put it 28-6. The two-pointer added by Wilson gave Heide Trask a 30-6 lead at the half.
With 6:08 left in the third quarter, Heide Trask added to their lead with a 76-yard sprint to the end zone by Jason Henry. Wilson’s two-point conversion gave the Titans a 38-6 lead. Kamajah Wilson added another touchdown in the fourth quarter with a 46-yard run to the house to make the score 44-6.
Tyreek Moore led Heide Trask with 170 yards on 15 carries with three touchdowns. Jason Henry also ran for 114 yards on 10 carries and a TD. Ahmarie White had 37 yards rushing and a touchdown for the Knights.
The Titans (2-2) will travel to Lumberton (1-2) next Friday. West Bladen, now 1-3 for the season, will host Union (2-2).
