A man is recovering after accidentally shooting himself in the same home where his father was killed in 2022.
Normal Foggan called 911 just before 4 a.m. Monday, according to a sheriff’s report. Foggan told deputies he was cleaning his Glock handgun when the pistol fired, striking him in the hand.
Foggan was transported by EMS to Seacoast Medical Center for treatment.
The shooting occurred at the Snake Island Road home of Foggan’s late father, Norman Foggan III, who was murdered by Jennifer Scurdato after an argument in 2022. Scurdato pleaded guilty to second degree murder and is serving a 84 to 125 month prison sentence.
