
In Tabor City, South Columbus defeated the Whiteville Wolfpack in ladies volleyball 3-0.
The Stallions go to 3-2 in the Southeastern Conference and 7-9 for the season. They will host Fairmont (2-3, 4-10) on Thursday. Whiteville (0-5, 1-11) will travel to Dublin Thursday to face West Bladen (4-1, 10-2).
At Boiling Springs, South Brunswick downed West Bladen in a battle of the conference unbeatens 3-0. The Cougars (5-0, 10-4) defeated the Knights 25-15, 25-16, and 25-22. Greer Pope led the Knights with seven assists.
South Brunswick will travel to Red Springs (1-4, 3-10) Wednesday. West Bladen, now 4-1 in the Southeastern Conference and 10-2 overall, will host Whiteville (0-5, 1-11) on Thursday.
In Newton Grove, Hobbton took down the Eagles of East Bladen 3-1.
The Wildcats won the sets by scores of 25-20, 17-25, 25-11, and 25-22. Taylor Dowless led the Eagles with four kills and Mileigh Martin contributed seven digs.
Hobbton (7-1, 10-3) will go to Rosewood (12-4) in a non-conference match on Thursday when the Eagles, now 3-11 in Carolina Conference play and 3-11 overall, will go to North Duplin (6-2, 10-4).
