WBHS Girls Tennis Remain Unbeaten; Pack Falls 5-4

In Dublin, West Bladen Ladies Tennis team remained unbeaten by beating Red Springs 6-3 and then 7-2 in a double header on Tuesday.

Faith Wren, Lileigh Anderson, Jeleah Purdie, and Estrella Vasquez all won in singles in the first match. The doubles team winners were Wren/Nance and Anderson/Purdie. In the second match, the singles winners were Wren, Purdie, Everlee Nance, and Vasquez. The doubles winners were Wren/Nance, Anerson/Purdie, and Vasquez/La’Naya Moore.

The Knights are now 4-0 in the Southeastern Conference and 6-0 overall. They will host South Columbus (3-1, 3-2) on Thursday. Red Springs (0-6, 0-6) will go to Whiteville (0-3, 0-6-1) on Thursday.

Whiteville lost a close match to Fairmont 5-4 on Tuesday. The Pack (0-3, 0-6-1) will host Red Springs Thursday. Fairmont (1-2, 1-7) will be at South Brunswick (4-0, 7-2) on Thursday.
