Here’s today’s Bottom Line
Sprawling high pressure will remain centered over the region through early Sunday bringing a continuation of warm temps and sunny skies. A weak cold front drops south over the area early Sunday as a new area of high pressure “wedges” in over central North Carolina through Monday and Tuesday. This will result in more in the way of cloudiness Monday and Tuesday, along with very slight rain chances mainly for the coast.
Models break down the high pressure wedge by Wednesday with mostly sunny skies returning, along with warmer temperatures.
Rain chances are little to none through Wednesday… but modeling is hinting at some shower activity in here Thursday and Friday, which we need.
