WHITEVILLE—The Whiteville Lady Pack defeated the Red Springs Red Devils in a tennis double header, 5-4 and 6-2.
The two teams did not play the third doubles in the second match. Medford, Arp, Benton, and Worthington all won in singles for the Pack. The doubles winners were Arp/Medford and Munn/Benton. Game stats were not available for the second match. The Wolfpack go to 2-3 in the Southeastern Conference and 2-6-1 overall.
The results were:
Wren/ Anderson (WB) def. Greene/Cartrette (SC) 8-3
Purdie/Nance(WB) def. Stubbs/Grahm (SC) 8-2
Redondo/Ward (SC) def. Cookson/Vasquez (WB) 8-1
They will travel to South Columbus (4-1, 4-2) on September 23. Red Springs falls to 0-7 in the conference and 0-7 for the season.
