
DUBLIN — South Columbus advanced to the third round of the 3A team tennis playoffs by defeating the West Bladen Knights 6-2 on Wednesday.
They will face perennial powerhouse Greene Central Friday in Snow Hill. Greene Central is the number one seed in the eastern regional.
West Bladen concluded its season with a 7-5 record. Jeleah Purdie is competing in the singles regional tournament and the team of Faith Wren/Lileigh Anderson will compete in the doubles regionals for the Knights. South Columbus record moves to 8-4 on the season.
