A major retirement announcement is making the local news today – The Real Whiteville Santa, will not be returning to his post uptown at the Little House this year. In a social media post, Santa said he has decided to step down as the official local representative for the Jolly Old Elf due to his health. No word yet on if he will have a replacement.
Santa – we thank you, sir, for decades of service to the community.
Santa was brought to downtown Whiteville courtesy of the Whiteville Fire Department.
