A man and woman from East Arcadia were jailed after they allegedly robbed a Rouse Lane man Oct. 28, and left behind some of their loot.
Cierra Myree Young, 37, and Robert Terrell Lacewell, also 37, were charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon. Young was also charged with absconding from the N.C. Dept. or Probation and Parole. Young’s address was listed as 416 Mooretown Rd., East Arcadia. Lacewell gave his address as Lacewell St., East Arcadia.
Deputies were called to Rouse Lane near Whiteville just after 11:30 p.m. on Oct. 28 to a report of an armed robbery. The report said Marshall Rouse told deputies Young entered his home and took his wallet, containing cash, credit cards and identification.
Lacewell allegedly went to the back door of the home, where he brandished a handgun, a press release said. The two suspects fled in a white four door sedan. Rouse was not injured in the robbery.
Deputies searched the area and found Rouse’s wallet. While some cash was still inside, another $2,300 was missing, with his driver’s license and debit card.
Deputies arrested Young on Oct. 29, and captured Lacewell Oct. 30, according to detention center reports.
