Welcome back to “eastern standard time.” Here are sunrise/sunset times through the rest of 2025:
Here’s today’s Bottom Line
Today won’t be too bad, all things considered. We’re starting off rather cold but temps will rebound to the upper 60s… maybe near 70 in some spots. We’ll see increasing and thickening clouds throughout the afternoon, and there’s the slight chance for some light rain in the eastern part of the county late this afternoon.
Low pressure will get organized on a frontal boundary that is draped along the coast. Each model run has come in a little stronger with this low, which will bring periods of rain and possibly some thunder to the area Sunday night. Rainfall amounts Sunday night could approach half an inch if enough lift pushes over the county.
Expect a northeast wind flow over the area on Monday with the departing low. This will mean cloudy, chilly weather with spotty light rain in the morning. I think we’ll see some breaks of sunshine Monday afternoon, but don’t bet on it.
We dry out for real Monday night and stay that way through the end of the week, with a remarkable warming trend taking place as well.
TROPICS: There are no areas of tropical interest, and no tropical formation is expected through the next 7 days.
