Due to the expected rain Friday and Saturday, Lake Waccamaw has cancelled the Christmas tree lighting and celebration and Saturday’s parade.
The tree will be lit at 5 p.m., but other activities have been cancelled due to the weather.
The Light the Lake Shore will continue through the holiday.
