ELIZABETHTOWN—Jackson Pait blistered the nets for 29 points Tuesday night to lead West Bladen past East Bladen 79-45. With the win, the Knights go to 5-2 on the season.

West Bladen came out fast and furious, scoring 30 points in the first quarter and 28 in the second to command a 58-25 lead at the break. The Knights stretched the lead to 64-29 in the third quarter to force the sportsmanship rule the remainder of the game, which means a continuous running clock.

Jackson Pait led all scorers with 29 points on the night. Tylik McCall added 17 points and Jamari Adams-Peterson contributed 11 points in the win. The Knights will travel to Farmville Central (3-0) Friday.

Tevin McLean led the Eagles with 16 points. East Bladen (0-5) will travel to face Whiteville (2-2) on Friday.
