Ben Agie Whaley, 76, of Nakina, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.
Ben was born on March 24, 1949, son of the late Herman Whaley and Ruth Maples Whaley. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Jimmy Whaley, Lola Witt, Dewayne Whaley, Eugene Whaley, and Fred Whaley.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Happy Home Baptist Church in Nakina, with Pastor Chris Stanley officiating.
Visitation will be from 10:00-10:45 a.m. prior to the service on Friday at the church.
Ben served his country in the United States Army.
The surviving family includes his wife, Renita Ganus Whaley; children, Nathan Whaley (Crystal), Tera Worley (Chris), Rachel Boren (Chris); grandchildren, Madison Whaley, Jacob Whaley, Emily Worley, Lacey Worley, Brady Worley, Jackson Boren, Harper Boren; siblings, Lorena Lein (Wayne), Glen Whaley (Lora), Donnie Whaley (Martha), Patricia Ridgeway (Dean).
