The man who allegedly told a woman to use bleach for birth control has been arrested.
Malachi Kitterrance Tyquan Brown, 20, of 280 F.M. Stanley Rd., Clarendon, was arrested and released on a $100,000 bond Wednesday, according to Detention Center records. He faces a single charge of contaminate food or drink with a controlled substance.
The 20-year-old female victim told deputies Brown picked her up Saturday around 10 p.m. and took her to a residence where they had consensual sex, according
to the report. Brown then gave her a cup of water which had an “unusual taste”. When she asked about the taste, Brown allegedly said the water contained diluted bleach that would “kill sperm cells and would not harm her.”
She later called 911 after she began vomiting at home. EMS transported her to Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville for treatment.
