Cell Phone Outages Hit Here

Verizon, T-Mobile and AT&T are experiencing cellular phone outages across the U.S. today.

More than 253,000 Verizon customers reported outages as of 1:30 p.m., according to Downdetector.com. Verizon posted on social media that the company is dealing with widespread outages in multiple states.

AT&T and T-Mobile are also reporting issues, according to Downdetector.

Verizon said on X that it is working to solve the problem.

A random sampling showed that more Android than iPhone users are seeing full outages.

Even though a telephone will not make calls or send text messages, most phones can still be used total 911 in an emergency. Officials ask that you do not cal 911 to report your phone not working.
